Ministry Leadership Principle # 3

You are being constantly watched. Everywhere you turn you see security cameras. When you walk into the bank or almost any store you can see several cameras watching you. Even when you don’t know it someone’s eye could be focused upon you.

The same thing is true of ministry and this leadership principle.

Principle # 3. You are a role model for others to follow.

One of the best ways to do ministry and to have an influence upon those you lead is more than just talk. Show them the model. That’s you!

You are constantly communicating a message to those around you. Your message is sent by how you conduct yourself, how you dress, and how you treat other people. People watch how you live, how you react, how you handle difficulties and how important spiritual things are to you. Our lifestyles are a continual curriculum to those around us.

Lead in such a way, that others will desire to follow you.
