Ministry Leadership Principle # 5

Everyone needs this principle in their life. Society as a whole depends upon it. Individuals crave it and if it were in everyone’s life, it would inspire, encourage, motivate and cause people everywhere to excel. It is so important that without it individuals have failed to achieve their dreams but when this principle operates in our life, it assist people to become more than they thought possible.

Principle # 5 People need to know that you believe in them.

Just the thought of having someone in our corner cheering us on and telling us that we what we can do it makes all the difference in the world.

Jesus did this with his disciples. He looked beyond their sins and inadequacies and said, “I believe in you.” That’s what he did when he changed Simon’s name to Peter, meaning “rock”.

Sometimes the only thing someone needs is for someone to believe in them when they may doubt themselves. To believe in someone means to look beyond where they are now to what they can be.
