Revelation is a book dealing with persecution.

“The first persecution came under
Nero, Emperor of Rome (64 A.D.)
In that persecution multitudes of
Christians were crucified, or thrown to wild beast, or wrapped in combustible
garments and burned to death while Nero laughed at the pitiful shrieks of
burning men and women. During this time Peter and Paul suffered Martyrdom.”
“During the second period of persecution, under Domitian
(95 A.D.) over 40,000 Christians were tortured and slain. It is at this time
